I am an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Geneva. I direct the Comparative Psychology Laboratory, which studies the evolution of cognition, communication and affect in humans and other animals. I teach about animal and human cognition, with a focus on social learning processes.
I am also the co-president of the Association BUGOMA, a French-based NGO, which supports the activities of the Bugoma Primate Conservation Project, which has been active since 2015 in the Bugoma Central Reserve, Uganda, with the goal to study and protect the primate populations of this forest, particularly chimpanzees.
I have experience in designing and leading large scale research projects. Analyzing scientific data. Producing large scale reviews of the scientific literature. Writing and evaluating scientific articles and grants. Team Supervision. Organizing and teaching scientific seminars and university courses.
